I've not been keeping up with my blog or weblinks much of late, but there has been good reason for this. At my day job I have been extremely busy, regularly working 45+ hours, taking work home, etc. All of these are things that I wish not to do. I can now say that my hard work is paying off.

Effective today, I am no longer an IT Technician, but a Network Engineer I. While my overall responsibilities will likely not be changing, it does show that the company does recognize the work that I have been doing and that I am a valuable member of the team.

Even though I'm advancing within the company, I do not want to stop there. I will continue working on my MCSA and other certs that I see fit to work on in order to further advance my knowledge and skills so that I can better support any company that I work for.

Any additional knowledge that I gain in my new position will not only be helpful at work, but it will also be helpful in my side work as I troubleshoot networking and software issues for others.

To those that have kept an eye on my blog and website, I thank you very much for following me. I hope to update my blog more often as things start to settle down a little more at work, as well as in my personal life, and sharing the knowledge that I have been able to gain in the various projects and tasks that I encounter.
